Jens Weber Set Design – Experience and expertise since 1992

A practical training program as technical designer by Blohm & Voss Hamburg (ship builders), diploma in modern arts and design, completed studies at the Accademia di Bella Arti di Brera in Milan in the areas of set design and art history, led me to the Hessisches Staatstheater in Wiesbaden Germany. Following three projects as assistant set designer, I was able to manage three musicals and one theatre production as lead set designer.

Parallel to my work in theatre, I have assisted on projects for the Norddeutscher Rundfunk Hamburg (North German radio and television) where I have managed many of my own production projects since 1992. From 1995 onwards, I have managed television projects for ARD, ZDF, BBC-Sport, HBS, Fox-Sports and other major television channels and clients. National and international sporting events have and continue to represent a large part of my work portfolio.

Since 2003, interior design, conferences, trade fair appearances and television entertainment shows have been among the other focal points of my work and extended to China in 2008.
